…or at least can work the Google on the Internet machine pretty damn well. We received this email from HOH listener Lisa in Portage, Wisconsin, who needed an answer:
The Question: I need help! I’ve been searching for a song for so long and I have no clue who sang it or what the title is! It is a song that came out in the early ‘90s I am sure.
Here are the starting lyrics: “Just a pretty thing, dressed to please, got ya on your knees, digging the pretty things if ya can, baby. You can sleep alone if it’s good that way what ya ain’t got ya don’t need anyway, yeah! If ya dig the pretty things…yeah. Now ooh, come along……I got a dollar in my pocket for you. Ooh, come along and you can have it if ya want it!”
That is respectively how I think the lyrics are with a wrong word or seven! Pleas tell me you know it!!!!!!! Thank you. – Lisa in Portage, Wisconsin
The Answer: “Dollar In My Pocket” by Big House.
