“Jani Lane’s is yet another sad story of a boy who attained his dreams of greatness, only to be blindsided by the pressures, temptations and disappointments of those same dreams. We all watched over the years, as he soared, stumbled, fell, then got up again and again. Tragically, he will get up no more. RIP Jani.”

In 2 days I’m going to see three bands at the Michigan state fair, and Warrant is one of them. When I heard about Jani’s passing it was definitely hard to accept, but the next morning VH1Classic played a few Warrant videos in his memory, so it had to be true. I spent half the day crying like most 13 year old girls would if one of their favorite musicians died. Rock in Peace Jani, you will be missed.
