Deep Purple’s headlining gig at the California Jam festival on April 6, 1974, is now the subject of a new book, Deep Purple At The California Jam, due out sometime this December. Scores of photos were collected from a number of photographers who were there that day and will be featured in the collection; a large number of the photos have never been published before.
