FEARnet is gearing up for the second season of its hit original sitcom, Holliston. The new season premieres on cable on Tuesday, June 4, at 10pm ET/7pm PT; each week’s episode will also be streamed on FEARnet.com starting Thursday, June 6, and on FEARnet On Demand every Wednesday after a new episode premieres.
The series follows aspiring horror filmakers “Adam” and “Joe” as they deal with the struggles of life, love, and career aspirations during their post-college period. Heavy metal icons Oderus Urungus of Gwar (aka Dave Brockie) is Adam’s closet-dwelling imaginary friend and guardian angel, and Dee Snider is Lance Rockett, the delusional wannabe rock star who runs the local cable station where “Adam” and “Joe” work.
A man suffering from brain cancer has filed suit against concert promoter Live Nation, alleging he was injured by flying debris (from a cannon) during a 2012 KISS concert in St. Louis. The man says it happened during KISS’s performance of “Rock And Roll All Nite” (see video recorded during the show below), and claims the cannon “exploded with great force” and “launched a metal ratchet tie-down strap” that hit him while he was standing at his assigned seat.
Says the complaint, “Prior to this incident plaintiff had been diagnosed with a rare brain cancer (esthesioneuroblastoma) and had experienced major surgeries and intense radiation therapy. At the time of his injury, plaintiff’s body was in a weakened and vulnerable condition.”
