Co-host Jimmy Kay from Canada’s ‘The Metal Voice’ recently spoke to Judas Priest’s guitarist Richie Faulkner prior to the band beginning their North American tour. When asked about Faulkner’s Favorite Priest Album, he replied, “ Defenders of the Faith, that one to me for some reason resonates more. I like when music takes you to another place, a different time or a different kind of fantasy. I love the artwork. I love the sound on the record. That one for me is the icing on the cake. We will be revisiting that album hopefully in the set list.”
Faulkner goes on to tell ‘The Metal Voice’ about his first initial reaction when he was asked to join Judas Priest, his thoughts on the bonus disks on Redeemer of Souls and about how Victim of Changes is the most challenging solo to play live.
