Fall To June: The Next Great Southern Rockers

faltojune

Florida southern hard rockers FALL TO JUNE have just released the first single DELTA BREAKDOWN from their debut album. This kick-ass band has a lot of rockers really excited:

“FALL TO JUNE is bringing back that old school sound combining the right ingredients. It has the bad-ass rock element, the southern swampy twang, and great songs with lots of dynamic grooves. Well done brothers!”
– Kenny Olson (Kid Rock)

“FALL TO JUNE brings an interesting blend of musicianship…This is just what my southern roots were looking for!”
– Brian Marshall (Alter Bridge, Creed)

“FALL TO JUNE is the shot in the ass that rock music needs right now. When Ben sings, I believe him.”
– Brad Stewart (Shinedown, FUEL)

The song “Delta Breakdown” is about a man’s struggle with alcoholism and substance abuse and how he gets to a crossroads in his life and has to face his addiction head on. If you haven’t heard it yet, call your favorite radio station and ask them to play it. You can also listen on their website here.

The entire album is completely bad-ass and will be out on April 21st on MEGAFORCE RECORDS. Pre-Order yours now and get the single instantly. And watch for the spring tour. You don’t want to miss these guys play live!

Up for some gooey zombie-killing action? And who isn’t?! Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian was recently an undead extra on AMC’s hit show, The Walking Dead, and you can see what happened to his character in last weekend’s show (hint: he doesn’t make it) here, if you’re up for some gore.

Get your ears on these streaming live versions of Van Halen classics “Panama” and “Runnin’ With The Devil” off the band’s upcoming album, Tokyo Dome Live In Concert, due March 31. This is VH’s second live album and the first to feature singer David Lee Roth.

AC/DC frontman (and car nut) Brian Johnson was first in line for a brand-new, limited-edition Mustang GT, built by Petty’s Garage, owned by NASCAR legend Richard Petty (pictured with Brian), and in conjunction with Ford. “It really is one of the best cars I’ve ever driven,” enthused the singer. “I didn’t have an American car, but I do now!”

Dig out your cassette players! April 18th is “Record Store Day,” and Metallica is commemorating it by issuing a copy of its 1982 demo tape, No Life ‘Til Leather, as a limited-edition cassette. The art comes from drummer Lars Ulrich’s own personal copy and features his handwriting.

Said the band in a statement, “In 1982 we recorded seven songs that became our initial calling card known as ‘No Life ‘Til Leather’, and it led us to our first record deal. The rest, as you some of you may know, is history! On Record Store Day, April 18th, that demo tape will be available as a limited-edition cassette (yes, cassette!!) at your favorite neighborhood record store and Metallica.com. We’ve been digging through the archives, gone to the original source material and re-mastered it to maximize the sound potential for 2015 without altering the original mixes in any way.” BuzzChic thinks this is the coolest release so far this year!

Whitesnake is gearing up to release its twelfth studio effort, called The Purple Album, on May 19. The album is full of new takes on classic Deep Purple tunes culled from singer David Coverdale’s two albums with the band. “It’s a tribute,” says Coverdale. “An homage. It’s a huge thank you from me to Deep Purple for the opportunity I was given over 40 years ago. As I said to Ritchie [Blackmore], you guys set me on an incredible journey that continues today and I couldn’t have asked for better teachers. The ‘University of Deep Purple’ was an extraordinary, amazing school to learn from. We can’t wait to play these songs in concert!” Check out the new video for the classic DP tune “Stormbringer”.

Guitar god Michael Schenker and his Temple of Rock band will release a new studio album called Spirit on a Mission on March 23. Have a listen and view the new video for the single “Live And Let Live”.

Europe’s 10th album, War of Kings, is out next week (March 10). Wanna preview the whole thing? Have a listen.
