Guns N’ Roses previously announced shows for the weekend of April 8-9 during the opening of Las Vegas’ new T-Mobile Arena, with Alice in Chains serving as the opening act. Following those concerts, Guns N’ Roses had already confirmed appearances at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California, on April 16 and April 23, with shows on April 19-20 at Mexico City in between.
The exact band lineup has yet to be confirmed beyond singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan, although it is almost certain that keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer are on board as well.
Original GNR members Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler don’t currently appear to be involved in the gigs, but Adler’s solo band abruptly canceled a show at the Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles on April 1, with the venue tweeting, “Stay tuned for a big announcement! #GunsNRoses.”
