Alice Cooper Says Working With Gene Wilder Was Like “Jamming With the Beatles”
Alice posted a tribute on his Facebook page with a video (link below) from the 1995 “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper” episode of the TV show Something Wilder where he was throwing a loud party next door to Wilder.
Remembering the fallen actor, Alice said, “I count working with Gene Wilder on his TV sitcom Something Wilder to be one of the most precious memories of my entire career. Doing one-on-one comedy with Gene was like jamming with the Beatles. It doesn’t get any better. Gene Wilder is IRREPLACEABLE and will always be an American treasure.”
Gene Wilder passed away Sunday at age 83, due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease.

Wendy Dio Says Ronnie Would Have Approved of His Concert Hologram
Last month a Ronnie James Dio hologram debuted during Dio Disciples’ set at the Wacken Open Air Festival.
Wendy Dio feels Ronnie would have loved the plans to take the hologram on the road for a full scale tour.
“I wanted it to be special for the fans,” said Wendy. “I wanted it to be something that the fans that loved Ronnie could come and see him again, ones that never were fortunate enough to see him could see him.”
Wendy went on to give an endorsement on Ronnie’s behalf, adding, “Ronnie, I’m sure, has given his approval because Ronnie was always into fantasy, as we know. He loved Disneyland, the crystal ball with the lady talking in it so we, in 1986, we kind of created a crystal ball where Ronnie came down on the Sacred Heart tour and he talked with a projection. So I think Ronnie would really be interested in this, and it was just something that we did with love and we thought the fans would really enjoy.”
“It was quite emotional when I saw it.”

Former AC/DC Drummer Phil Rudd Reveals He Suffered Heart Attack
Rudd revealed his heart attack took place a few weeks ago and that he underwent a procedure to place a stent inside a blocked artery. “Yeah, I had a f—ing heart attack, but I am good now, got a stent inside,” Rudd says.
“I was just at home walking around at home, and I started feel, well just funny. You know how you can feel funny? I had a strange pain in my chest. So my housekeeper took me to the hospital, when they hooked me up and did all these tests turned out I had a big heart attack…my artery was all blocked up, and they said I had to stay in and have an operation.”
Rudd (as you’d expect) was not a model patient, saying that after doctors broke the news of his heart attack, “I sneaked out to the shop to get some cigarettes, then I realized I had no car, so I walked home to get the Ferrari, and drove back to the hospital.” Really??

Slash Slashes His L.A. Mansion Price by $1M
Top-hat-wearing Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Slash is having to do just that — slash — the price of his rock ‘n’ roll-style mansion in the hills by $1 million. The rocker was also forced to seriously tone down some of the more eccentric design elements to appeal to a more mainstream buyer. After being pulled from the market for several months, the one-of-a-kind mansion is now listed at $9.5 million.

Sharon Osbourne Reveals Ozzy Osbourne Cheated With Five Women in Five Different Countries
In a new interview with The Sunday Times magazine, Sharon Osbourne commented on Ozzy’s infidelities, revealing that he had cheated on her with five women in five different countries. She explained, “The s–t that’s been going on with my husband recently, it’s been going on for about five years, but people are talking about it now. We’ve survived everything — drink, drugs and now it’s women.”
She continued, “Somehow drugs and drink is more acceptable, I think. When it’s somebody that has a sex addiction, it’s embarrassing. He’s come out and admitted it finally. It’s very, very hard. It’s been going on for at least six years.”
Ozzy has been going to counseling, both on his own and with Sharon.
Ozzy Still Hopes Ward Will Be Part Of Final Black Sabbath Show
In more Prince of Darkness news, Ozzy told Rolling Stone in an interview this week: “Right now I’m having a blast. I suppose I may have a different head on when we do the last show. I used to resent going out on the road, but now it’s fun. Nobody gets stoned, nobody gets drunk. We’ve been doing some great shows.”
“I’m sad that Bill never came through. Every time I reach out to Bill I get yelled at for something.” Asked whether Ward will make an appearance in Birmingham, he says: “I don’t know. If something can be worked out, great. Tommy is doing a great job.”
Earlier this month Bill Ward said it was “incorrect” to suggest he’d make a return.
Black Sabbath will play their final show ever when they conclude The End tour in Birmingham, England in February.
Ozzy Osbourne Has No Interest in Becoming a Country Singer
With more and more classic rockers feeling the pull toward country music these days, there’s one old-school singer who has no interest in heading down that path: Ozzy Osbourne.
“Not me, thank you,” he tells Rolling Stone in a new interview. “Personally, I think you should stick to what you know best. If [Aerosmith singer] Steven [Tyler is] having a good time with it, who am I to complain? But it would be absurd for me to do that. I don’t mind country, but the ‘Prince of Darkness’ with a cowboy hat? I’m a rock ‘n’ roller, not a f—ing country bumpkin.”

Metalheads Say The Damnedest Things
“I came to Nashville. I rented a house. Now I just bought a house, so I’m living here full-on. It’s a musical Mecca. I co-wrote with everyone down here, and I think I’ve done some of my best work through this country head.
“This town still has the passion for music. It hasn’t lost it through business and money, which may be big here but the music aspect still has the passion. Artists come here come from all over the world to be part of it, and there’s so much music dripping out of the honeycomb of this town that I’m in it.
“I’m in it neck-deep. I’m going to stay here, I’m going to live here. I love it here.”
~ Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, on his continuing country love affair with Nashville
