Twisted Sister made a surprise headline appearance at the legendary Roxy Theater in West Hollywood on Wednesday, October 5 at the Cathouse 30th Anniversary live show. This was purportedly their last show ever on the West Coast, as they wrap up their touring career after 40 years.
Fans got to hear “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll,” “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” “Born To Raise Hell” (tribute to Lemmy of Motörhead) and “I Wanna Rock.” Openers included Kings of Spade, Little Caesar, Jetboy, Gilby Clarke, Junkyard and Faster Pussycat.

I missed TS in September 1984 when you last played Portland, Oregon (pronounced – ORY-GUN!!!!) so I’ve had to make due with concert videos, which I must say completely F’ing ROCK!! Just watched Metal Meltdown and I was off the couch and on my feet!! I’ve watched a lot of concert DVDs and Twisted is the only band to convey through the ENTIRE set the energy that makes it feel like being there! Even watching WNGTI just now, the energy comes through and it’s awesome. I can only imagine what actually being there was like. You guys had a great run and are going out at the top of your game! I hoping that maybe there will be the occasional one off and I’ll one day be able to catch TS live!
The 80’s Was So Bad*** I’m So Glad that I Got To See All The Good Metal Bands #HELLYEAH
