Dee Snider has accused Avianca Airlines of improperly denying his daughter her airline tickets and for “sharing sensitive information.”
Snider, who lives part time in Belize, tweeted that the airline refused to allow Cheyenne Snider to board her flight because her passport was “not on point” and was “too ‘wrinkled’.” He went on to accuse Avianca of “clearly exhibiting bias” toward his “very goth-looking daughter.”
Dee tweeted : “HERE WE GO AGAIN! @Avianca airlines is denying my very goth looking daughter (so proud!) her airline tickets because her passport is “not on point”! WTF?! Read: They think it’s too “wrinkled”. @TSA told her that they think it is A CASE OF BIAS?! WTF!?”
Dee followed with: “My daughter literally went to @delta @ the next counter & they said HER PASSPORT IS FINE. They said @Avianca WAS CLEARLY EXHIBITING BIAS TOWARD MY DAUGHTER BECAUSE OF HER APPEARANCE! She is now booked on @americanairlnes who checked her passport & SAID IT IS FINE! F**K @Avianca!”
In response, Avianca tweeted: “About the case of the passenger Cheyenne Jean Snider, we report she was not allowed to board her flight because her passport, identity document to travel was deteriorated. Even the passenger admitted she had put it into the washing machine. As is stipulated in international regulations, it is necessary for the passengers to present their original documents, which has to be valid and in good condition to be able to travel. Otherwise, the airline is authorized to not allow the boarding.”
Dee took to Twitter again to call out Avianca for including personal information about his daughter, writing: “HEY @Avianca @AviancaEscucha I JUST REPORTED YOU TO @Twitter FOR SHARING SENSITIVE INFORMATION! TU PERRICITO DE CACA! #AVIANCASUCKS”
Snider later tweeted a blurry photo of what appears to be an Avianca check-in counter at an unspecified airport (image below).
Cheyenne (26) is the youngest of Dee’s four children with wife Suzette.
CHECK OUT HARD WORKING @Avianca EMPLOYEES! NOTHING BETTER TO DO BUT JUDGE MY DAUGHTER'S APPEARANCE & DENY HER BOARDING! CHARGED US $150 FOR CANCELLING TOO! THANKS @AmericanAir @Delta @TSA FOR SUPPORTING MY DAUGHTER & CONFIRMING @Avianca WAS BEING BIASED! #AVIANCASUCKS! pic.twitter.com/hmz1j5PnMy
