SONG: IRON MAIDEN – Aces High
For those, like me, who love to headbang and learn some history at the same time, this is a must-listen-to song. I love this one very much because it’s heavy with history and it’s just freakin’ heavy! To quench your history thirst: The song’s lyrics are written from the viewpoint of a British RAF pilot fighting against the German Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain in 1940, which was the first military engagement to be fought entirely with aircraft. And as for the headbanging aspect: It’s at the top of the list!

Thank you for playing AWESOME METAL every weekend on the HOH! My Husband and I look forward to your show all week! While dating we blew a few speakers and ear drums in my Camaro listening to Twisted Sister, Kix, AC/DC, and more. My girlfriend and I used to jump on her bed, while headbanging to the beat of Twisted Sister as teens.
We all enjoyed the House Of Hair Weekend April 30th-May 2nd on 105.7 WAPL. It really ROCKED our bonfires! Can you please have more HOH weekends during the summer? There were several songs we have not heard before. Will/Can you post the playlist from the WAPL HOH weekend this past weekend? I would love to make my husband a playlist for Father’s Day!
THANKS AND KEEP ROCKIN DEE!!
