SONG: Ozzy – Mr. Crowley
Hey Dee – Do you know where you were on June 20, 1980? I do! You were at Hammerheads in Islip, New York. I know this because I was at your show watching you tear it up! 1980 was a pretty good year, so how about we honor it? There were a lot of great albums released in 1980 so you’d think it would be hard to pick just one, but for me it’s easy. 1980 was the year when most of us were introduced to Randy Rhoads on Ozzy’s first solo album; Blizzard of Ozz. Without a doubt, with no hesitation whatsoever, I choose Randy to represent the best of 1980 with the song “Mr. Crowley.” I’ll always be an SMF, my friend. Thanks!
